A new program being offered during the season is The Mississippi Plays Series as part of The Eudora Welty New Plays Series. Staged readings of contemporary plays about Mississippi, or written by Mississippians, will be presented throughout the season. These will be professionally presented staged readings of newer plays during the season that touch on Mississippi’s history and the history of the civil rights struggle.
