MORGAN DONAE (Acting Associate) is an actor, singer, and teaching artist from Dothan, AL. She is a graduate of Auburn University with a BFA in musical theatre. Her previous roles include Little Women (Marmee), The Game’s Afoot(Inspector Goring), Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812 (Princess Mary/Ensemble), Barbecue(Adlean), and more! Within the theatre, Donae enjoys teaching tap classes and working with the marketing team. When she is not onstage or working backstage, Donae enjoys reading, making homemade iced coffees and matcha lattes, and crocheting. Morgan is beyond thrilled and honored to continue honing her skills and sharing her passion for performance at New Stage Theatre.
SEYVEN SCHLUETER (Acting Associate) is from the sunny state of South Carolina. Graduating from Winthrop University with a BA in Musical Theater and Minor in Dance, Schlueter is so excited to be making their post grad debut here at New Stage Theater! While working on their degree Schlueter had the opportunity bring roles to life both on the traditional stage and at theme parks, some of their credits include: The Escape; or a Leap for Freedom (Melinda), Little Shop of Horrors (Crystal), Antigone (Tiresias), along with a number of Dance Showcases and theme park shows such as Conjure The Night (Queen Skullarita) and hosting and dancing in Polar Party. Beyond the stage, Schlueter is extremely grateful to God, their Mother, Father, Brother, Family and friends for being such an outstanding support system. No part of this journey would be possible without any of you. Schlueter is also extremely grateful to the New Stage Education and production team and can’t wait to make the most of this amazing opportunity!
ALAYNA SCOTT (Acting Associate) is a recent BFA Musical Theatre graduate from West Virginia University. Her WVU performance credits include Something Rotten! (Portia), Amour (Madeleine), and Into the Woods (Rapunzel). Scott hails from Bunker Hill, West Virginia, and is thrilled to be making her professional debut with New Stage Theatre. She is incredibly grateful to her friends and family, whose love and support have inspired her to take this leap of faith and pursue this exciting opportunity. She can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes her!
JOSEPH TOMBERLIN (Acting Associate) is thrilled to be a part of the New Stage Theatre Associate Artist family! He fell in love with the arts at a young age, participating in local community theatres and high school shows. He studied at Converse University in Spartanburg, South Carolina, becoming the first man in the school’s 135+ year history to graduate with a BA in Musical Theatre. Tomberlin spent time with Missoula Children’s Theatre as a touring actor/director, traveling across the Midwest and bringing the joy of theatre to hundreds of children over the course of a single summer. Besides a fruitful dozen years on the stage, Tomberlin has also appeared as an extra in season 3 of The Righteous Gemstones as well as The Other Zoey. He’d like to extend a special thanks to his family, friends, and Converse T&D staff and colleagues for supporting him throughout his artistic journey and helping him get to where he is today!
KEITH WESLEY (Acting/Directing Associate) is a multifaceted dramatic storyteller from Stockbridge, GA. A recent graduate of Florida A&M University with a B.A. in Theatre Performance, where he performed in productions such as Sibling Rivalry (Man 1), Thoughts of a Colored Man (Wisdom), Two Trains Running (West), and Romeo & Juliet (Balthasar). Additional performance credits include Calming the Man (Michael) with Palaver Tree Theater and Dearly Departed (Royce) with Monticello Opera House. Beyond the stage, he has served as the Assistant Director for The Mountaintop at Theatre Tallahassee, Stage Manager for Pipeline, and Lighting Designer for Echoes of the Heart and the Irene C. Edmonds Youth Theatre Camp’s production of Rotten to the Core, all at FAMU. A dedicated leader and advocate, Wesley has held positions with the National Humanities Center, the Campus Activities Board, and Essential Theatre Union at FAMU, and is also a recipient of the Black Theatre Network Young Scholars Award.
